There is a reason this twin is the last of a long line of RKO TWIN theaters to survive. The box office numbers have always been BIG .All the other twins from RKO are LONG gone .

went to see this theater during the day , top right piece of screen is missing and thats how they run it.Area is clean neon APACHE all working – pylon looks as if its new.
RATS?I ran this theater as manager and dm for years and never had a one,and i have to say the presintation for and odd twin was pretty good. Theater # 1 was to cold theater #2 to hot ….The locals could not get enough……

cineplex odeon took over around 1987 as i was the DM for the take over..
cineplex took this over about 1987

Cineplex ran it for about 2 years as an ice cream parlor

I reopened the Alpine ice cream parlor when Cineplex Odeon bought that theater …
