Hey Charlie,
Love your commentary and insight, your one of those OGs (Original Gangstas, as we say- different meaning of Gangsta of course) that I love to run into in the park or walking the street in the summer time. Provide history and wisdom about our community (Bronx, NYC).
Question: is your site down or what – I can never see the page when I click the link.
Hey Lost Memory,
I love that pic but it is the Wilkens Ave not Corsa Ave “Boston Road Theatre.” I am positive of that – the Corsa Ave one is one block from Eastchester Road in the NorthEast Bronx.
Do you know where to find more info on the Corsa Ave theatre?
Thank you!
PLEASE someone provide a WORKING link of an inside and outside pic of how the Boston Road (Corsa Ave) theatre use to look (50s, 60s, 70s). I know how it looks now and would love to buy it! Any further info on this treasure?
[i’m learning so much from this site, THANKS!]
Dave and Lost Memory,
Thats the one I was looking for! and this link/site
www.forgotten-ny.com/STREET%20SCENES/theatresbronx/bronxthea.html
