It took much more than a blast of air to demolish the Ozone/Wallis theatre building. Loss of patronage of a very pleasant and friendly venue was the cause, and it was with very mixed feelings that the decision was made to replace it with a building more suitable for other uses. To show how they felt about it, the Wallis management invited the public to a last nostalgic showing in Cinema 1. Truly we saw that night that it really would soon have ‘Gone with The Wind’.
