The third last cinema erected for Dan Clifford’s Star Theatre chain was a fine modern building eclipsed only by the later Piccadilly, North Adelaide and New Star (Capri), Goodwood theatres. Now the meeting place and headquarters of an evangelical church, it is still used for theatre and film presentations which further the ends of its owners, and could be returned to full cinema use very easily.
