This theater, for a dine-and-view, is actually pretty decent. The food itself is priced on par with a restaurant like, say, Grandmothers or even TGI Fridays, but imho the quality is worth the cost. The wait staff does go out of their way to not interrupt the movie-going experience too much (at least, the two times I went, they didn’t). The building itself is pretty nice: 2 floors, with the theater itself being one of the upper floors. I especially like that you can book your seats ahead of time.
Plus, there’s a certain novelty factor to the whole experience. Especially having a nice, hard drink to endure a movie you’re not too keen on seeing in the first place. ;)
Man, used to go to this theater a LOT as a kid. It was pretty much the only game in the area until the AMC 24 opened, if I recall. I remember, not that long ago, my sister and I went to see Jackass 2 here, and boy, the place was a DUMP! The floors were sticky, seats were worn and torn, and the employees clearly did not want to be in that relative ghost town. Few months later, the announced it was to close, and it was quickly razed into a parking lot. How times change…

As of this year, the 20 Grand has been remodeled and now called ‘Majestic’.
