This theater, operated by Marcus Theatres, has reduced the number of its general admission seats and increased the number of dine-and-view seats. View article
This theater, for a dine-and-view, is actually pretty decent. The food itself is priced on par with a restaurant like, say, Grandmothers or even TGI Fridays, but imho the quality is worth the cost. The wait staff does go out of their way to not interrupt the movie-going experience too much (at least, the two times I went, they didn’t). The building itself is pretty nice: 2 floors, with the theater itself being one of the upper floors. I especially like that you can book your seats ahead of time.
Plus, there’s a certain novelty factor to the whole experience. Especially having a nice, hard drink to endure a movie you’re not too keen on seeing in the first place. ;)
Marcus' last day of operation of this theater was on Sunday, and Alamo Drafthouse will reopen it in the fall.
Looks like this will open 3/8/19 with Captain Marvel and other films. Stay tuned…
Closed permanently on October 9, 2022, the theater’s contents were auctioned off on November 20, 2022.
