Larry Beardon should get all the credit. My family owned it prior to Larry’s ownership, and probably never taken time to rennovate and run it. So Kudos to Larry for preserving it so beautifully.
Kate was my Aunt, a lady with tons of energy, and a good heart. I loved Blakely. Her son is still there.
Spurgeon Dunn, her brother, my father, also had theaters in No. Fla. and So. Ga.

I’d like to add that Uncle Ellison Dunn’s wife, Aunt Olive, played the piano (organ?) during the showing of the silent movies. Are there no pictures?
