This image and several others in the photos are not the Colonial Twin. You’ll note that the ads that say Colonial Twin say it was in Hendersonville. It did start out as a single and added an additional screen later. I remember seeing it in the 80s. There is a good pic of the drive-in in the photos here.
The Colonial was at OHB and Gallatin rd. It was a different theatre.
I found a couple pics of the Princess but cannot find a listing. When I search for it, this is the theatre that comes up. Should I post them here or just throw them out?
@TomMc11 That is not the Drive In sign. That sign was left behind when the Hills department store abandoned. the building on the NW side of the lot was the location of the department store in the 1980s.
I am looking for photos of this theatre. If you can help me, please email me at cjpendley at iCloud or PM me on FB. I am trying to write a Donelson TN history book.

Way out in the country in 1957.
I don’t think this is the Twin.
I wish I had had the foresight to photograph these theatres. I did get the Sumner’s sign but should have driven in and got the whole thing.
This is the Colonial Twin near Hendersonville.
The newer theater was built in 1973. I have a pic from 1999, shortly before it was demolished. I’ll post it here.
I don’t think she likes Dr Clitterhouse very much.

It is visible in the 1952 aerial photos.
