The Concord Airport Drive-In was opened by Concord Airport manager and owner Lewis J. Whitley and partner Gilbert L. Faw and on January 19, 1948 with Cheryl Walker in “Secrets of a Model" (at left). The Drive-In favored exploitation films (three ads to right) likely presented in glorious 16mm.
