Ah, David, GREAT shot! Coming west on Mt. Auburn St. Even though it’s a long distance, I can clearly notice the new marquee (with the COOLIDGE cursive style) along with one of the two smaller marquees on the right side (there was another one the left side as well) Also of the note is that the large, vertical COOLIDGE sign which appears in your previous photo, on the left side, is now gone. I’m guessing that this pic is from sometime in the 50’s. Man, I can’t tell you how often that I think about The Coolidge Theatre (sometimes it even appears in my dreams). I wish there were a pic or two a bit closer (one at night with the neon would be fantastic). Regardless, happy to see this new pic today. Not in this picture, but of worthy mention, is Dairy Joy which was there on the right side, next to the Coolidge School playground along with Randy’s Bowling Alley, which was across the street from the theatre.
