  • <p>Frame from the 1986 movie, ….ABOUT LAST NIGHT;  filmed in Chicago in late, 1985.  The two little upstairs auditoriums were known as the Roxy and the Ritz; however, those names lasted for about a year or so after the two upstairs cinemas were opened in 1983.  Plitt Theatres took over the Biograph in 1984 and eventually dropped the Roxy/Ritz names and just called the two  little auditoriums #2 and #3 and, of course, the original main auditorium was known as Theatre #1.  For whatever reason, Plitt left the Roxy/Ritz marquee up until Cineplex Odeon took over in 1985 and eventually got rid of the neon sign.</p>
