In this June 1960 photo by Jeffrey L. Wien, the Century Theatre is advertising a double feature: Debbie Reynolds in Bundle of Joy, plus The Mighty Spectacle of David and Bathsheba.
Philadelphia PCC streetcar #2540 (seen here on Route 56 - Erie) was built by the St. Louis Car Company in 1940. The cars in this series were retired by 1982. Buses replaced streetcars on this route in 1992.
