On September 6, 1952, W.J. Wooten – operator of the Olympic – launched the Canyon Drive-In Theatre and a pre-grand opening ad is at left. In the ad at right, after ten seasons of dormancy, new operators Mr. and Mrs. Harry Swanson relit the Canyon for one final season in 1977. The drive-in was closed that season and demolished in 1985.
