PERTH CAPITOL THEATRE to re-open as Cinema. The governing director of Fullers Theatres Pty, Ltd (Sir Benjamin Fuller) said today that Fullers Theatres Pty, Ltd had just taken a long lease on the Capitol Theatre, Perth, and that is was intended to use the theatre for films. It would reopen as a cinema probably on September 1, 1942. It was built 13 years ago at a cost of £200,000 - Contributed by Greg Lynch - dimensional1@bigpond.com
