I remember when they first split the theater - they just split it straight in half and for a time the seats were still pointed at an angle as if the wall down the middle wasn’t there. My wife and I had our first date here - “The Sure Thing” - she was and still is 36 years later.
I saw Blues Brothers here – didn’t realize it was the grand opening. My parents took a friend and I – I had recently turned 12, but told the person I was 11 for the cheaper ticket – friend says “what are you talking about, I was at your 12th birthday!” oh well…
Evidence that this was an adult theater? I lived in the area at the time and there were no adult theaters in OKC in 1989 as far as I can remember.
We saw Forrest Gump here on opening night- It was the only theater in the St Louis region to have the film. It opened wider at a later date.
I also saw Tron, Platoon, Breakfast Club, and Altered States here that I recall off the top of my head.
I saw the Silence of the Lambs and Cape Fear here.
I wouldn’t be surprised if part of the theater is still there somewhere in the auto dealership.
Nice theater - I remember seeing movies here regularly.
I remember seeing ‘For Your Eyes Only’ and ‘Clash of the Titans’ here. Sad to see it go.

I remember seeing Titanic there. Didn’t appreciate the theater at the time.
Only movie I saw here was ‘Hail Hail Rock n Roll’ which was interesting as it was filmed there as well. Kind of an odd experience.
I remember when this was new. Saw Cape Fear and the Silence of the Lambs here.
I remember seeing not only Pumpkinhead, the movie, here, but also the Smashing Pumpkins in concert.
I liked this one – I remember seeing “the buddy holly story” here. Packed audience.
