July 1951 newspaper ad from the Richmond Independent. The Pablo was doing what it had to to get the customers coming in with this very tame exploitation combo, probably not too long before the doors would be shut for good. I’m not sure what the origin of the obviously imported and retitled “French Girls Club” is but “Devil’s Harvest” is another of those “Reefer Madness” type anti-marijuana “classics” from 1942. “Held Over by Popular Demand” so I guess it was helping the Pablo pay a few bills!
