I grew up in Greenwich on the Port Chester line, and my next door neighbor’s mom managed the Rye Ridge Theatre in the late 60’s. This meant me and Jimmy F. (my next door neighbor) spent many a Saturday afternoon watching the Saturday afternoon fare of the time. I may have even gotten some free popcorn out of the deal.
I attended a sneak preview to Return of the Living Dead at The Cheri in ‘85. An amazing experience due to the “audience participation” from the highly animated crowd.

In the mid 80’s, the Pi Alley was where my wife and I went to see Nightmare on Elm St. and The Evil Dead II. Good times.
