  • <p>Astrojet Cinema Centre Road and Departure Drive, Melbourne, VIC -</p> <p>Photo Ken Hill (Exhibitor, Projectionist & entrepreneur)</p> <p>Astrojet Cinema Tullamarine Airport 1977. Bauer U3 and16 mm Bauer projector. Second 35mm C&W later replaced with an LP 270 platter. The building originally opened as a space and science museum and the cinema was used to show NASA films.</p> <p>This was not a financial success and half the space was taken over by Ansett to operate their 727 Link trainer (flight simulator) the remaining half was then operated successfully as a small suburban cinema.
