  • <p>Charlie was making a giant step from behind the hidden Murray Hill Theater wall closet door.
              This is a silkscreen print by Mary Delaney, who was a cashier at the candy counter in the early 1980’s. She was also an art student at the School of Visual Arts. An usher, Peter, and box office cashier, Esther were also art students at SVA. The MH theater was like a second home for some of us. It was a magical place.</p>
  • <p>A “Doorman” would take tickets at a stanchion about twenty-feet up a very slight slope from the front door.
              Herman was a fixture at the theater. I dont know how long he worked there, but he was a classical figure there. He was from the Bronx.
