I had this theatre for a very short while. Just long enough to lose my butt! I remember having to “swing” myself into the projection room and then pull the film up by rope!
My father owned this theatre in the late forties and early fifties. I owned it fron 1973 until the early eighties. I paid 16,100. and sold it for 24,000. to the current owners.
My father built and owned the Lincolndale.He bought the Lincolndale Drive-in in Fort Wayne and the Peru Drive in and combined the best of the equipment to build the Warsaw Lincolndale. It died with his death.
I used to lease this theatre from the Woytineks and it didn’t do very well. Beautiful theatre though! The concession area was not handy to the auditoreum. It was added later,when theatres started selling food.

I grew up working at this theatre.My father helped build it and my mother was the first ticket seller.
Don and Vi LeBrun, the original owners, were the most wonderful people you could meet.Don usually hand painted his own posters to save money!

This building burned and the outer shell was retained but totally rebuilt for retail.
This theatre was built in the 70’s as a twin by Vore Cinema Corp. It replaced the burned Boice Theatre.
