Located on the corners of Main Street and Buffalo Street in downtown Warsaw, the Lake Theatre opened in late-1948, with all seating on a single floor. The Lake Theatre closed in 2004
It has since been acquired by the orthopedics company, Zimmer, Inc., who gutted the building and added a third floor, converting it into a hotel for guests of the company.

This theatre is was closed by Mallier’s who opened up a six screen theatre on U.S. 30. It is currently listed by a local realestate company.

This theatre was featured in the 1948/49 theatre catalog.It had 908 seats on opening and the architect was Erwin G Frederick.
May 1 1970 THE LAKE THEATRE is playing “BEN-HUR” with two shows daily.“GOODBYE,MR.CHIPS” would play next.
I grew up working at this theatre.My father helped build it and my mother was the first ticket seller.
