TOUR DU PAGE THEATRE * MAY 10-10:30 AM. A delightful visit to a rare suburban movie palace is planned for SPRING - Saturday, May 10 10:30 AM - A Spanish-Moorish atmospheric theatre designed by R. G. Wolff, the DU PAGE Theatre opened on July 1, 1928 and has remained intact. Complete restoration was begun in 1977. Our hosts for the day include: Thomas Loftus, owner; M/M Gene Sandstrom, managers; and two THS members: Doug Christensen and Bill Barry. Don’t miss this opportunity to visit a beautiful theatre and renew your friendship with fellow THS members. LOCATION: 109 S. Main Street, Lombard, Il. Theatre located ½ block south of NorthWestern Station or 1 block south of St. Charles Road. The 9:40 AM NorthWestern (West line) train from Chicago will get you there on time.
