Capri Drive-In
This photo appeared in the May 8, 1954 issue of Motion Picture Herald, part of a spread about the Airport Drive-In, built for CinemaScope. The page also included photos of the Airport’s stereo speaker setup. The original caption:
New curved screen tower at the Airport drive-in shown just after the screen had received its final coat of Raytone paint. The picture presented is 80 by 40 feet. The tower building is five stories high with the ground floor used as a garage and office, the second story as an apartmet and the top three for storage. (Ballantyne Co. VP J. Robert Hoff) is shown in front of the tower above.
