The first “multiplex” theater in Little Rock. Converted to a bargain theater in 1987 and closed in 1994. The box office and concessions were combined in one central spot. There were 2 auditoriums to the left, another 2 to the right. 984 seats. It shared the parking lot with Southwest Mall (Ar State Police HQ now), a Putt-Putt, and El Chico Restaurant.
Actually, the Cinema 150 and Asher Drive-In were on the same southwest corner, separated by a strip mall. The UA Quartet was directly across Asher from the drive-in.

The site of this theater is now the parking lot for the theater that replaced it.
BTW, it was never demolished. That is the same building.Might want to update that.
It was still operating in late 1988, early 1989. I had moved from Little Rock in the summer of 1988 and the McCain theater was the nearest one.
