Taken in early November 2007, as part of promotional material taken by the casino’s operator, Boyd Gaming (where the theater is based in).
A few of the movies being shown are “The Game Plan”, “Why Did I Get Married?”, “Across The Universe”, “Bella (2006)”, “Good Luck Chuck”, “We Own the Night”, “P2” and “Martian Child”.
Yes, there is evidence that P2 was actually shown in theatres and not a made up movie. As far as I know, Cinemark didn’t start implementing their branding at Century locations until late 2007, so that’s why you can still see Century-era material in this picture.
Funny enough, the now abandoned concession stand on the second floor STILL features ancient Century-era ads touting Orville Redenbacher’s, old Coke designs and when Nestle was still big in the chocolate industry in America.
