I grew up in Wethersfield right up the street from this amazing theater. The inside was beautiful, I still remember the red velvet curtains so well and the concession counter with popcorn and candy we couldn’t wait to get our hands on. We were careful too, because this theater felt like something that would be in NY city, not our quiet little hometown. I wish their were pics of the inside but I’m happy to see this. Such a big mistake closing and demolishing this landmark.
