Princess Theater Exterior Remodeled
Nashville Banner newspaper, September 29, 1937 page 18: “Permanent Beauty. The Nashville Sash and Door Company has just completed a contract, remodeling the Princess Theater, Lebanon, Tennessee. The entire front is covered with Vitrolite Structural Glass, with a color scheme of perfection and luster of surface in suntan, black and yellow, with blue mirrors extending forty feet in height.

The Vitrolite front was intact and in good condition up to about 1980, though the theatre had been closed for about 20 years. The marquee was gone in the 1960s. Likewise there were no “blue mirrors extending forty feet in height” at that point, though there was a stylized monogram P in the upper center.
