Collin Creek 6
The GCC Collin Creek 6 was a low profile sixplex at US-75 and Plano Parkway. It was obscured from the highway by a Venture Department store for southbound travelers, by highway elements for northbound travelers, by trees for anyone to the west. But if you were the Collin Creek Mall and knew the theater was there, you just had to exit the mall, cross Plano Parkway, go down a dead-end curved road called Accent Drive for a quarter-mile, and - because of the nature of the curved road - you’d see the theater at the very last minute to your right. Entertainment was to be had from 1987 to 1998 as the theater was unable to fulfill its 15-year lease.
