After 25 years of operation, William Flynn sold the 50-S Drive-In to new operators. They held it for three seasons including this Grand Re-Opening June 28, 1974 before selling to Commonwealth Theater Circuit of Kansas in late March of 1977 along with the Petite Twin and Fox-Granada of Emporia.
