Pal Theatre
Under the operation of James H. “Oscar” Wesley, the Pal had its halcyon days from 1932-1951. It was a 20-year run with free dishes, free kids movies, free farmer movies and showmanship including the Great Kirma trying to extricate himself from a burning Norge refrigerator and – elsewhere in town – driving a Ford blindfolded to get to the Pal Theatre.
