Grand opening of the Louis Theatre which launched in 1946 after being the Lux. Not sure about the Lux, but the opening picture from the brochure handed to patrons is of the rest rooms and explains how the Louis will be a sanitary and courteous place. The Louis would be excised one year prior to the facility’s 100th anniversary.
