On October 4, 1943, Roy Rogers and Trigger paid the Strand in Brooklyn a special visit. He was appearing at Madison Square Garden at the World Champions of Rodeo and made the appearance in Brooklyn.

The movie was currently booked at the Brooklyn Strand, but Roy & Trigger made that “personal appearance” outdoors, in front of Borough Hall.
