This is a 1921 architectural sketch by the Elliot Theatre Enterprise Corp. Circuit - operator of this theater - to convert the Opera House into a full-time movie theater only house. The sketch by Robert Peden & Co. also had interior views ambitiously eliminating the second and third balconies and changing the site lines. Hinging on a lease by the Scarritt estate, the plans were scrapped and the building rather unceremoniously though famously changed into a parking garage.
