As the twin-screen Adam & Eve Theaters where the original concept launching on July 31, 1970 was adult fare for men on the Adam screen and women on the Eve screen. But just months in, all Eve got was normal fare and pretty soon Adam got revival films. So that concept failed within two years on March 30, 1972 though officially closing in a final return to adult films April 11, 1972. The location would return to form as the X 1&2 soon thereafter.
