May 9, 1948, The Elmwood Skyline Drive-in Theater introduces their new “Talk-Back” speakers. With a press of a button, these state-of-the-art speakers enable the viewer to order from the snack bar and have their food delivered to their car without leaving their car and missing any of the movie.
