King Theatre
The Valley Theatre launched in May of 1934 by the Dubinsky Bros. Circuit (at left). After a legal challenge, the theatre closed in 1940.
Under new management, it became the Nickel-O-Dion Grand Theatre in 1941 (center) and the Grand Theatre in 1942 when the admission price increased.
Finally, under Dickinson Circuit, it became the King Theatre late in 1942 (ad from 1945 right).
