Marblehead Auditorium Theatre
The Marblehead Auditorium Theatre opened in March of 1908 with motion pictures. Here are two ads - at top is a 1930 ad which has live content supported by a film. The theatre discontinued movies after the February 15, 1931 not being able to afford the conversion to soon.
But on October 10, 1936, ir re-emerged with a sound system playing talkies starting with Barbara Stanwyck in “A Message to Garcia” and Buster Keaton in “Grand Slam Opera" (ad on bottom).
