The Rushfair Theater opened with a second-run of “Jaws” at its grand opening on April 30, 1976. It is believed that the struggling mini-cinema was told that to survive, “You’re gonna need a bigger theater.” Unfortunately, the Rushfair was swallowed up closing after less than nine months of operation.
