Frost Theatre
It’s a bit grainy, but that is the remnants of the original Frost Theatre to the right a day after the May 6, 1930 storm.
That storm essentially destroyed the rest of the town with what is considered one of the State’s Top Ten most devastating tornadoes that basically flattened the entire town costing more than 10% of the population their lives and wrecking the agricultural community’s entire growing season. Overhead shots show virtually no usable buildings.
