The architectural drawing for the “New” State Theatre replacement that never was. The State’s operator had architectural plans for a theatre twice the size of the original State and that was a new build facility instead of an existing retail conversion. But fading fortunes for downtown theaters was rapidly occurring and the operator made the wise decision to walk away from the State and downtown KC, KS.
