After the death of Harry Davis, his aging Davis Theatre was combined under the short-lived Stanley-Davis-Clark Theatres Circuit with an ad that shows how the Davis was primarily a vaudeville house that still had some films presented in 1927/8 as it struggled in the age of newer and superior movie palaces in Downtown Pittsburgh.
