After General Cinemas left the Lauderhill Mall Cinemas I & II in 1982, the number of operators and names of the twin is a bit challenging to keep up with. It was operated along with another former Loews Theatre in 1982 (ad middle right) as Cinema 1 and 2. It was relaunched by Florida Quality Theatres (ad at left) as the Cinema 4 encompassing the theatre across the street in February of 1983 and was auctioned off not long after this ad. It became an ultra discount 89 cent for a double feature theater in late 1983 (top right) as a first-run theater in 1985. And it was run by the Mall, itself, in 1986 (ad at bottom) returning to a discount house.
