Taken immediately following the end of WWII, and a few years after the Lobo opening, this photo reflects the utilitarian aspects of the Lobo (i.e. university students were its clientele)with one glaring exception - the painting (which may have been a mural of the Sandia Mountains and may be worth lots of money today). Note: the floors are clean, the carpet appears well-worn, and there are convenient ashtrays placed.
