One of the more subtle grand opening ads as the Dodd / Marple Elite Theatre in 1908 opening the new 600-seat Maple Theatre across the street. The Marple launched on October 1, 1908. D.W. Griffith’s “Ingomar, the Barbarian” and shared the ad with the existing Elite.
