Paddy Hannan an icon of Kalgoorlie located directly in front of The Regent Cinema and Picture Gardens on the street which bears his name.

Thousands of tourists have taken photographs with the statue of Kalgoorlie’s most famous prospector over the years - This image was taken in 1965.

Norm Fimister courtesy of ABC Goldfields-Esperance site. Used to go to the regent movies as a kid..in side in the winter, outside in the summer.. Would sometimes freeze outside when the esperance doctor came in. 😖😏
