Regent Theatre and Gardens

Central Gardens opened on 26th October 1911 with “The Bush King or Captain Midnight”. Movies were screened until 1914. Bob Clemenger brought the Gardens and renamed it the Town Hall Gardens, but this gardens burnt down(date unknown?). The Regent Theatre and Gardens was built(and opened?) on the former gardens site in 1933. Closing date of the Regent Theatre and Gardens unknown? The Regent Theatre and Gardens was demolished in(1974?). The site is now a supermarket(Woolworths).

The Woolworths Supermarket is part of the Kalgoorlie Central Shopping Centre.
