The last known newspaper advertisement for the Lincoln Theatre was April 20, 1954, for the double feature “Here Come the Girls" and “Sabre Jet.” By the time of this view in 1957, the building was being used by Allied Productions, Inc, a company that built parade floats, created stage and theater sets, and built exhibits for the 1959 Oregon Centennial.
The entire area, including all the buildings seen in this view, was demolished for urban renewal in the 1960s. Today this area is the parking lot of the University Place Hotel and Conference Center.
