Rubens magnificent Rialto Square Theatre seen here in 1940 showing “The Great McGinty” starring Brian Donlevy, Muriel Angelus and Akim Tamiroff. A story of a common man / street bum who is groomed by corrupt politicians to become a write in candidate for governor who gets wise and becomes a better man without them. Also showing “Comin’ Round The Mountain” a madcap comedy starring Bob Burns, Una Merkel and Jerry Colonna.
