In response to the comment from 2010, The Hub was a confluence of roads in the eastern part of Bryan where Route 6 once passed (and since is 2 and 34 with U.S. 6 well to the South). It was also where the Hub Drive-In, Hub Service Station, and Hub Restaurant monetized the Hub-ness and led to dozens of car accidents in the 1950s.
