Fast forward to May 20, 1999 where the AMC was charging $1.50 for “Cruel Intentions” at the aged Festival 6. Then on May 21-23, 1999, they were charging $1.75 for the same film. What were their cruel intentions? The public was no longer in a festive mood and the next ad was a reply of “thank you for your patronage (AMC out).”
